About this product


Sourced from the Silvan Vineyards, south of Coldstream, the 35 year old vines here are rooted in red clay (Monbulk profile) sloping north. Gary Mills ferments the grapes naturally as whole berries in open top wooden fermenters, before pressing to older French 'hogs' where the wine matured for 18 months. The first release is deliciously red-fruited, with notes of cedar, dusty tannins and food-ready crunchiness.
