Patricia Tasmanian Chardonnay 2022

The 2022 Patricia Chardonnay is an elegant style balancing natural acidity with complexity and ripe stone fruit flavour. This vintage was a standout for Chardonnay especially from our Kayena vineyard in northern Tamar Valley. This wine combines the three best blocks from the 2022 vintage. The Kayena vineyard experiences cool ripening conditions, contributing to a tight style with wonderful white peach and citrus notes typical of a cool climate chardonnay. The wine shows a vibrant straw colour with a slight green hue. The nose is complex with aromas of stone fruits, cashews, citrus and pear. The palate is elegant with mineral characters, struck match complexity and incredible length. It is a crisp wine with well balanced acidity, oak, and layers of intrigue.
