Tasted Feb. '22. The 2016 has the best structure of any of our recent Bin 555 cellar releases. Confidence in its quality grows from the marvelous deep rose petal aromatics to the rich garnet colour, and is confirmed at the first sip. It boasts excellent ripe blackberry fruit, smoothness, despite a tantalizing "shirazy" peppery bite, and a touch of complexity rarely seen in wines at this price level. This very "Aussie", well cellared shiraz is a cracker at its modest price.
