Langhorne Creek is the great unsung hero of Australian Shiraz, in many years an essential component of some of Australia's greatest red wines, including none other than both Wolf Blass Black Label, and Penfolds Grange. The Langhorne Creek Shiraz magic-touch is all about bringing flavour and richness. This pure expression of Langhorne Creek Shiraz offers intense blackcurrant, plum and cedar, utterly slurp-able, fresh and delicious now but will gain weight over the next few months (if you can be patient). The extra plus given for ageing potential. Like the long lineage of 'parcel buys' Dan Murphy's has been sharing with our customers since the 1950s (then called Binnings), this parcel of wine was destined for an altogether higher-altitude - fortunately, we got there first and snapped it all up. The bottom line. This is a warm-hearted Langhorne Creek Shiraz of generous appeal. The archetypal crowd-pleaser.
