This is gloriously expressed on the nose showing blackberry, blackcurrant, chocolate tart, leather, cake spice and vanilla notes. The palate is superbly concentrated and richly fruited, delivering outstanding depth and intensity, wonderfully enhanced by velvety texture and supple tannins. Bold and sturdy, yet silky and flowing. At its best: 2019 to 2028.

Thick rich purple colour, saturated, intense, minerality, thick ferous, blood thick, blackberry, dried black currant, graphite, black olive tapenade, cedary oak cocao, very Barossan, well integrated, fine grainy tannins. Big, like a heavyweight boxer, but one who is light on his feet. Right on the money for those who love big bold but controlled Barossa shiraz.
