The wine offers lovely fruit purity together with silky texture and mellow tannins, making it splendidly drinkable. At its best: now to 2024.

A light bright ruby. Pure Vale grenache aromas of kirsch, pomegranate and sassafras. Medium feel, with a pinosity that is increasingly typical of the better examples of the region. Impressive cranberry acidity, thirst-slaking tannins and a saline expanse that caresses the gums as much as it corrals the teeming fruit flavours. An impressive wine for the money.
