Maison Les Alexandrins is a collaboration between two renowned winegrowers from the Rhone Valley - Nicolas Jaboulet and Alexandre Caso. Their wines are crafted in a signature style that is at once contemporary and timeless, and always from exceptional vineyards unearthed by Alexandre Caso, a specialist in the terroirs of the Northern Rhone.A blend of 60% Grenache Noir and 40% Syrah sourced from hillside terraces rich in quartz and limestone marls, vinified and matured in wooden and stainless steel vats for 8 months. Beautiful deep red colour with purple reflections. This wine opens up with a powerful and expressive nose with toasted notes, and the Syrah bringing a bouquet of red fruit. On the palate, it reveals elegance and richness through fine tannins that balance the opulent notes of very ripe black fruit, typical Syrah spices and a superb long finish.
