Franciacorta Brut NV

Franciacorta is a premier region in Lombardy in the north of Italy, producing traditional method sparkling wines, identical to the technique used for Champagne. A blend of 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir, with 22 months on lees. A perfect example of Franciacorta, with aromas of white stone fruits, hints of honey, baked bread with hints of sweet spices. The palate is characterised by dried fruit notes, followed by shades of wild herbs with a long finish. The unique blend of fruit and savoury, spicy characters makes this ideal with savoury tarts, cheese, vegetable salsa and cured meats.
