Can a "Cat" have puppy fat? Well, this one does. At six years of age this 2016 Fat Cat Shiraz has demonstrated the value of our cellaring programme admirably. Rich, plump, round, and soft, with a cushion of pillowy tannins that help to create a wonderful opulence - very satisfying. Warm spices, softening oak, deep, highly coloured black fruit and a flavour line that goes on and on - time in our cellar has added points to the score. This is totally enjoyable at the moment (Oct. 2022), and will hold well for another 5 years.
