Our five first growths have historically been dedicated to Chardonnay. The limestone soil at the top of the hillside brings minerality, while the marl at the bottom of the hillside contributes opulence and generous fruit. Finally, the soil on the mid-slope provides a pleasant acidic freshness. The blending of all the plots at the end of the ageing process creates Beaune du Château’s harmoniouscharacter.

Medium bodied white wines have a lightly textured mouthfeel with moderate flavour impact. Often pale lemon coloured to pale gold.
