Booker Noe, sixth-generation master distiller who grew up at the Jim Beam distillery, is also known as the father of the small batch movement. He created Knob Creek® to restore the standards of pre-prohibition bourbon. Following our bourbon’s lead, we make Knob Creek® Rye in small batches, patiently age it in the deepest charred barrels and bottle it at a full 100-proof to maintain our approach to big flavour. Then, instead of corn as the master grain, we use the highest quality rye to bring forth a unique spicy, smooth flavour for a beautiful difference.
