Dry, Medium Bodied style of ChardonnayWe craft each exquisite expression of Chardonnay to express the purity and profound sense of place that have made Lingua Franca a world-renowned ambassador of the Willamette Valley. The Lingua Franca 2022 Avni Chardonnay is no different, this wine has complex aromas with layers of mineral, citrus, white flowers, and spice. On the palate the wine is balanced, vibrant, and round with a clean finish. The natural acidity of the region is rounded by labour-intensive barrel fermentation and aging, and a spontaneous Malolactic fermentation. Avni 2022 has nuances of lemon peel, green apple, river stone, and a softer edge of pear and quince in the background.

Medium bodied white wines have a lightly textured mouthfeel with moderate flavour impact. Often pale lemon coloured to pale gold.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
