About this product

Founded in 1960, Domaine Michelot is now under the guidance of seventh generation winemaker Nicolas Mestre. After honing his skills in New Zealand, Nicolas returned to the domaine in 2009 joining his father, Jean Francois at just 23 years old. With 17 hectares, including prime holdings in Meursault’s most prestigious Premier Cru sites Charmes, Genevrieres, and Perrieres, Nicolas crafts wines that are vibrant, energetic, and thirst-quenching, capturing the pure essence of the terroir. The Meursault Genevrieres Premier Cru offers a bouquet of citrus blossom, white peach, and wet stones. More generous than the Charmes, the palate is bright and chiseled, defined by intense mineral energy and a long finish. The result is a wine of great clarity, balancing Meursault’s natural weight with grace and pure tension.
