A pitch at the top flight realm of chardonnay. This works. It's got flavour, minerality, beautifully integrated oak character, powerful yet trim stone fruit, just-ripe pineapple, green apple fruit characters with some nougat and vanilla cream draped through. The texture is chalky but lets juiciness come within it, the finish long and a flourish of more flinty mineral influence. It captures that essence of 'fancy' and 'premium' very well. Nicely done.
