Deep crimson. Lovely blackcurrant pastille, mulberry, dark chocolate, roasted chestnutaromas with star anise, hint Campari notes. Supple and sweet fruited with cassis, meltedchocolate, negroni like flavours, fine chocolaty textures, lovely mid plate volume and well balanced roasted chestnut mocha notes. Dry gravelly finish with attractive Penfolds-choco berry notes. Impressively balanced wine with lovely richness, density and vinosity. 66%, Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Shiraz. 16 months maturation in 45 percent new and 55 percentseasoned American oak barriques. Drink 2028 – 2045. 14.5% alc – 97 point
