Bin 51 Riesling is always good - a firm favourite of the Dan's panel. The 2025 edition boasts all of the usual verve and drive, showing to fine advantage a wonderful lemon-talc nose, salivatingly intense fruit - kaffir lime, pear and mandarin. Disarmingly gentle on entry, with closer examination revealing a beguiling intensity.

Pale colour. Fragrant pure lime, tonic water, grapefruit, verbena aromas and flavours, lovely chalky textures, superb mid-palate volume and fresh bell clear acidity. Finishes crisp and long with a light chalky al-dente plume. A hint of bush garrigue. Very Evocative. 10.5% alc Drink now – 2038 96 points
