“Crushed and destemmed into open-top fermenters, hand plunged, matured for 9 months in French oak (20% new). Musk sticks, Red Ripper (formerly Redskins) and raspberry on the nose, the palate only suggestive of that vibrantly sweet fruit. Tannins are the main player here – savoury, drying and fine grained. Good length of flavour reveals a banquet of ripe red fruits through the finish.”
