Matured in new and used oak. Bright, full crimson-purple; purely in terms of fruit flavours, very different to its Adelaide Hills sibling, here darker and with the savoury dark chocolate nuances of the Vale. But it shares the same elegance and balance.

Fully destemmed and aged in a combo. of French (80%) and American oak, 20% new, this is a lustrous crimson with all the postcode aromas in place. Delicious. Boysenberry, blueberry, anise and some Christmas cake spice billow across a juicy, rich palate. Not a prosaic wine but poised, plump and thoroughly of place. Made with a deft touch.
