About this product

Diego Magaña, from the Magaña family of Navarra, has quickly gained recognition in Rioja’s evolving wine scene. Known for his elegant and precise wines, Magaña’s wines stand out as some of the most exciting new projects in the region.
Dominio de Anza Rioja, made from 87% Tempranillo and 13% Garnacha and Graciano from 10 plots in Elvillar and Laguardia in Rioja Alavesa at altitudes between 560 and 620 meters, is vinified plot by plot using a mix of 4,000-liter vats, 500-liter barrels, and 1,000-liter stainless steel tanks. It is then aged for 12 months in a combination of 4,000-liter wooden vats and 500-liter barrels, with vines averaging 60 years of age. The wine reveals aromas of sour cherry, dark berries, wild herbs, and delicate flowers. The well-balanced, medium-bodied palate is enhanced by fine tannins and lively freshness, leading to an energetic finish. A vibrant and expressive young Rioja.
