This cabernet has settled in the bottle very nicely. Sometimes it takes a while. Lifted red and black fruit aromas, with red and black currant and cranberry varietal cabernet flavours, on a precise, mid-weight palate, indicate a wine that rises above the usual commercial level. Quality, well tended fruit, picked at the optimum moment and skilfully nurtured by expert winemakers, has resulted in a wine that not only drinks well now, but has the structure to mature gracefully for 5 to 8 years.
