About this product

The Tardieu-Laurent Vieilles Vignes Crozes Hermitage is 100% Syrah from four sites—Larnage, Battis, Gervans and Coteaux de Mercurol. In the tradition of the much-loved house, all vines used are well-established, being 60 years old or more. One third of this wine is composed of whole bunch fermentation. Spicy and fragrant on the nose, dark berries dominate the palate, with a compelling meatiness. The finish is saline and savoury.

As one of the leading negociants in the Rhone, Maison Tardieu-Laurent have access to some of the most established old vines in the region. Tardieu-Laurent handpick the producers whose fruit finds its way into all of their wines, thus producing exemplary expressions of Rhône terroir at all tiers.
