Deep magenta/crimson with characters of Doris plum, blueberry and boysenberry fruits. Hints of purple flowers, pastis, cherry clafoutis, dried citrus rind and earth. Plenty of cherry, plum and blue fruits flow freely on the palate, while tight, fine tannins provide the structure. The medium-bodied, lingering finish shows excellent purity and verve.
