For Mountain Goat's next Rare Breed release, they decided to use three hop favourites and a variety that they hadn't used before in Calypso.  Over two months of testing, trialling and tasting, they settled on the Killer Hops IPA. Medium bodied with dry finish. Expect fruity  hop character and strong bitterness throughout. A beer that lives up to it’s name.

What a wonderful brew. A burst of hops that somehow manages to complement rather than overpower the fruity tones. Makes a lot of my favourite brews now feel a little insipid. Well played Mountain Goat!

Amazing balance and nose of citrus, the hops are amazing and full flavoured... Can't get enough of this beer...

Tasted and smelt too much like apricots for me. Not a fan. Give me Sierra Nevada or a Ballast Point any day over this over hyped nonsense.
