9% cabernet sauvignon, 42% merlot, 9% malbec. It's soft and fluid, but dry herb characters and dusty tannin help afford it a seriousness. This isn't going to let anyone down. It was matured in both American and French oak but, thankfully, oak doesn't have a major say in the flavour profile. Dark berried fruit, well formed and structured, is the hero.

Chocky-mocha richness in bouquet, dark berries, leather and liquorice, faint green capsicum/green herbs. Dusty spicy wood faint over dark fruits in palate, real palate stainer here, generous in flavour, smooth in texture, finishes with bustle of spice and coffee ground tannins. Nicely done. Big red, with drinkability on its side.
