Oldbury Road Cabernet Sauvignon

The Oldbury Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was crafted exclusively with fruit from our high-altitude vineyards. The pursuit of excellence was our driving force in nurturing this wine from wine to bottle. This wine is a fine example of a cool climate red. It has plenty of aromas such as blackcurrant, peppermint, plums, cassis, mocha, and hints of cigar box. It also releases rich truffles, game and earthy notes showing the best of our “terroir”. The palate is full bodied, round and finishing with firm and gentle tannins. Patiently, this Cabernet Sauvignon has evolved for 18 months in French and American oak barrels, before being left at liberty and bottled. This wine would be best served with Lasagne, Italian pasta, red meats, or Spanish dishes. It also works well with mushrooms.
