Spey River is a collection of some of the finest Single Malt Scotch Whiskies from the renowned speyside region of Scotland known for its combination of the refined flavour, aroma and excellence. The coopers used still use traditional methods and tools to maintain, repair and re-char the American Bourbon oak casks used for the maturation process of this Single Malt. It has rested undistirbed for a minimum of 20 years before being hand selected by the Malt Master. The finest spirit from each year's production is selected and bottled, only these select examples of the distillers art bears the name of Spey River. Spey River 20 Year Old has a fresh and fruity nose with soft vanilla oak notes, the addition of a little water releases hints of spring blossom and gentle spice. The flavour is rich and mellow with luscious vanilla, creme Brule and woody spices. the finish is complex, long and enduring with a lasting sweetness.
