LauranceChardonnay 2014
About this product
Fresh tones of lemon curd, white pear and nectarines to start, accompanied by hints of vanilla pod, toasted nuts and blossoms. The palate enters rich and viscous, beautifully balanced by vibrant natural acidity and stone fruit overtones. The finish is both elegant and powerful, packed full of fine-grain French oak focus and an opulent fruit presence.

Rich and voluptuous, toasty, buttery. the type of Margaret River Chardonnay that brings the crowds in. Really good French oak provides a hint of spice along with burnt fig and melon flesh, white nectarine and a lick of ginger spice. So there's a lot of highbrow character going on in what is essentially a gorgeously drinking wine for all. Kudos.
