About this product

The MSV Gomersal Estate on the Western ranges of the Barossa Valley is blessed with ancient soils rich in lime and calcium, these soils produce some of the finest grapes in the region. Gomersal Shiraz is made in a restrained new world style. Aged in expressive American and French oak the resulting wine presents up front fruit with enticingly soft tannin.

Opened this over the WA Day long weekend (2017). The wine was rich, beautiful and held all the elements together well given the high alcohol content. At this price point it out drinks MANY of the over indulged princesses on the market.

This wine was high in alcohol vol and it was evident when we tasted it, I went to a different wine instead that was a lot cheaper and more pleasant on the palette

I thought this wine was well past it's peak drinking and actually poured it down the drain after one glass. The rest of the dozen reds I bought in the pack were excellent. The Lawrence Shiraz was outstanding.
