Old vines growing in the historic precinct of Limoux at the western edge of the Languedoc region have produced an elegant multi-faceted chardonnay of genuine class. The 2018 vintage is less about the oak than previous vintages, allowing the perfectly ripened and succulent fruit to show its best. Stone fruit, nuts and citrus are all obvious flavours that build richly in the mouth. A well-powered chardonnay, showing admirable restraint. Don't over chill. Allow the fruit to express itself.
