A few years of careful cellaring has brought this reliable old McLaren Vale brand to a very comfortable stage in its life. Soft and warm and cuddly. Dark cherries, blood plums, dark chocolate, licorice, lead pencil and mature notes of roasted root vegetable can all be found. Soft, furry tannins and good mid-palate weight provide the cuddliness.
