About this product

This La Forge Estate Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep garnet red colour with bright ruby tints. On the nose you've got intense red berry flavours, red pepper and tobacco notes, underlined with cocoa and spicy vanilla aromas. The palate exudes aromas of chocolate roasted nuts, currants and clay with a tart dryish medium body and a grilled cedar, cherry and apple accented finish.

A very easy drinking wine smooth great fruit content. So much better than a lot of Australia Reds. As a lover of the traditional Shiraz and Cabernets a lot of Australia wines have lost this.

Screw cap popped off in my hand when opening. Unlike champagne, red wine is not supposed to do this. Wine tasted like vinegar, tipped down the sink. Wine has probably been heat affected in transit from France.
