Nicolas RossignolPommard Chaponnières 1er Cru 2014
About this product
The fruit for this wine comes from the Premier Cru plot of Les Chaponnières planted in the 1980s, and is farmed using organic and biodynamic methods. Les Chaponnières is bordered by the town of Pommard and the Premier crus of Les Rugiens-Bas, Les Jarollières and Les Croix Noires. The wine itself is 100% de-stemmed and fermented using indigenous yeast with few punchdowns used. Post fermentation, the wine is aged for 18 months in 25% new oak barrels.
