About this product

Crafted by hand, this Deanston is first matured in ex-bourbon casks from a family run cooperage in Kentucky, creating its subtle but zesty character.
The Golden Spirit is then finished in Virgin Oak casks, adding subtle spicy aromas.
The result is a dram that warms the heart as well as the conversation.
Deanston Virgin Oak sits between premium bourbons, and non-age statement Scotch whiskies. For the consumer, this means a link from bourbon to Scotch, in both price & flavour.

This is great value for 80AUD bucks at Dan's. It's also non chill filtered and no colour added. My only suggestion is give it time to breathe and open once you poor a dram. It's a lot better than a lot of the single malts over 100.
