In keeping with past Giaconda pinots, the '18 opens with a warm generosity and alluring scents of alpine wildflowers, dried herbs and exotic red fruits including dusty cranberry and pomegranate. A fleshy palate is well concentrated in fruit and boasts integrated oak and supple tannins running velvety across the tongue. And still so young. Amazing.
