About this product
Colour: Purple with a crimson hue. Aroma: Berry fruits of the forest, raspberry, cherry and mulberry with an earthy dustiness. The vibrant fruit is supported by vanillan oak with a hint of warming sweet spices. Palate: Soft, silky fine grained tannins, a result of the cool vintage 21 conditions, sweet dark fruits. Cedary oak supports the fruit on the palate. An elegant, medium bodies classic varietal Margaret River Cabernet. Finely polished with great balance and length. Food matching: Char grilled meats or field mushrooms. Cellaring: Five years and more to see the wine fully expressed.

There’s a feeling that this wants to let loose but just can’t right now. It’s too young, too tight. There’s a regional expression of mulberries, leafy freshness and blueberries with wafts of warm earth and grainy tannins. It’s a good wine but its best days are ahead of it, so come back to this in a couple of years.
