A succulent, primary, red fruit nose leads to a ripe and juicy palate, exhibiting, in all their glory, damson plums and wild berries, tempered by an attractive savoury, forest floor character and enhanced by very "Barossa-like" smallgoods and meaty hints. A joy to drink.

This is an impressive offering; the gorgeously expressed bouquet shows dark plum, spiced cherry, violet, anise and roasted nut characters. It’s equally attractive on the palate, displaying excellent weight and concentration together with expansive mouthfeel and silky texture, leading to a wonderfully long velvety finish. At its best: now to 2032.
