About this product

Prosper Delord was a travelling distiller who upon discovering Armagnac fell in love with the spirit and decided to start Maison Delord in 1893. Today Jerome and Sylvain Delord, Propers great grandchildren continue the tradition with the same passion, knowledge and love that has been handed down through the generations. This Armagnac is aged for a minimum of 5 years. Round and full flavoured with aromas and flavours of vanilla and a touch of wood.

I was gifted a bottle of this for Christmas, and I've got to say, for its price point, it's the best brandy I've had. Full-bodied, smooth and tasty. The only brandies I know that compete with it cost twice as much.

Probably best of the basic line such as Janneou, Tarique, de Laubade. Did not try SEMPE yet. Interesting `smoke` smell aroma, very smooth..
