There's a dark heart exposed in this wine as it lies, brooding, in the glass. The mouthfeel is impressively thick and the flavour rich. Full bodied, yes, yet the wine rolls easily around the tongue revealing intense fruit flavours of blackberry and ripened dark mulberry, deeply entwined with dark chocolate, aniseed and exotic spices. A generous shiraz gushing with pure Barossan saturating flavour- thoroughly enjoyable now, but also great for the cellar.

Flavour in abundance that's for sure. Lurking underneath the lashings of American and French oak is a mix of plums and blackberry essence, mocha, mint and aniseed. Densely weighted across the palate, yet the tannins are plush almost velvety and there's a succulence that entices.
