Dry, Full Bodied style of Pinot NoirA single vineyard gem from Geelong, Clyde Park Single Block D is made from hand-picked fruit and wild fermented. From a 20-year-old south-facing MV6 block of vines, the natural yeast fermentation includes up to 20% whole bunches and the wine is hand plunged twice a day before being racked in 40% new French hogsheads for 10 months. This textured, deeply coloured and firmly structured wine can be decanted and enjoyed now but is a great candidate for 7-10 years plus cellaring.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Wild fermentation with 40% whole bunches. Matured in French oak (45% new). The addition of whole bunches has brought a fine fragrance to this wine and contributed to a mighty firm structure, something that time will no doubt help resolve. A sinewy, linear pinot with raspberry, red-cherry scents and a touch of undergrowth, it cuts a firm line filled with red fruits and spice through to the end. Still early days for this wine.
