Tahbilk1860 Vines Shiraz 1997
About this product
Tahbilk's 1860 Vines are a 'living miracle and an Australian treasure'. The 1997 vintage is rich and ripe and juicy, with lovely plum, sultana and blackcurrant aromas jumping from the glass; the oak has largely been eaten up by the beautiful glowing fruit.
The palate is pure Tahbilk at its best; superfine strawberry and deep plum with a slight raisiny character which, even with its depth of flavour, maintains a light, succulent fleshiness.
Good acid. Very good length. An excellent Old Vines Shiraz.
