Grenache is currently undergoing a vigorous renaissance in Australia. The Barossa has wonderful stocks of ancient vines which produce magnificent wines. It's hard to understand why this venerable variety fell out of favour.Parcels of fruit were sourced from throughout the valley for this premium wine. Experienced, gentle, minimal intervention winemaking has maximised the finer aspects of the fruit. Generous fleshy, spicy cherry and raspberries, gentle dried herb tannins and long, silky flavours which glide across the palate with finesse, only begin to describe this Barossa classic.
