About this product

The 2010 Domaine G. Roumier Chambolle Musigny is a breathtaking example of why this vintage is revered by Burgundy purists. While the premier cru bottlings offer more power this village level wine provides a transparent window into the elegance of the region. The 2010 growing season was characterized by its cool temperatures and late harvest resulting in wines with incredible tension and vibrant acidity.

The nose is a delicate perfume of wild strawberries crushed violets and damp earth. On the palate the wine is lithe and silky with a crystalline mineral core that reflects the limestone soils. It possesses a persistent finish that highlights the masterful winemaking of Christophe Roumier. This bottle is currently in a beautiful drinking window but will hold for another decade.
