Bright, very pale straw-yellow colour, near colourless on rim. The nose is soft and even with gentle, pungent passionfruit and gooseberry fruit aromas harmoniously entwined, underlined by subtle mineral and fresh herb elements. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, fresh, lively acidity features on the palate, enhancing the sweetness and succulence of the passionfruit and gooseberry flavours. The mouthfeel is racy and mouthwatering, the acidity tending to dryness and providing a fine, textural line to the palate. The flavours are clear-cut and have a degree of restraint, and lead to an elegant, dry finish. This is an elegant, racy and mouthwatering Sauvignon Blanc with restrained and stylish flavours of passionfruit and gooseberries.
