Vibrant earthy plum with hints of spice of cumin, wooden bark and chocolate round the palate and give it an unctuous mouth feel. As the name suggests, ‘The Magnet’ captures the spirit of my second born son, who naturally seems to attract things (both good and bad). The chemistry continued through the winemaking process for the 2016 vintage, resulting in a vibrant and generous wine, very typical of McLaren Vale Grenache. A fine tribute to a fine young man; and a perfect homage to a perfect find.

Light bodied red wines have a water-light mouthfeel and light flavour impact. Often pale to light/medium in colour.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Unashamedly McLaren Vale.
