It is immensely seductive on the nose showing crème de cassis, Black Doris plum, tobacco, cedar and mixed spice aromas, followed by a concentrated palate that displays outstanding fruit purity and depth. The wine offers power as well as refinement, superbly supported by loads of fine, chalky tannins. At its best: 2021 to 2033.

Black currant, red currant, mulberry leaf, lashings of juicy intensity, succulent, deliciously fruit forward and the oak only intrudes to provide minimal tobacco and cedar notes. Fine grained tannins. A big splash of deliciously juicy MR cab. Lovely flow and losse knit, open characters. Incredible value.
