A motley blend that sounds exciting: tempranillo, with 4/1/1% grenache/graciano/touriga nacional added. The grenache, from untrellised bush vines in excess of 70yo. A sappy and attractive nose of blue- and red-fruit aspersions, gently reductive. The oak, malty. The finish, a clang of obtuse tannins and biting acidity. The concept is good. The execution, still needing a great deal of work.
