An imposing statement of Margaret River cabernet sauvignon from this outstanding season. Opens with a classic wave of Margs blackcurrant and black olive fruit with a lifted overlay of mintiness. The palate is deeply intense and supported by ripe, precise tannins. Plenty of oak has been ladled into but the balance has been struck perfectly. Built for extended cellaring.

A decidedly restrained wine that shows spicy, tobacco- like oak notes swirled through just ripe plum and more floral scents. Plenty of perfume and flavour, but sits tight and trim in the palate, finishing with a building chalkiness that bodes well for the future.
