From the '71 contour plantings, 50/40/10% crushed/destemmed/whole bunch. On skins for 18 days, with 15 months oak elevage. Extremely complex and intense, but perfectly balanced red and black fruits with flourishes of spice and black peppercorns. Tannins a feature.
