About this product
If you want a truly special Champagne, don't go past this one. It has an amazing aromatic complexity with fruits, peaches, apricots and a touch of brioche on the finish. Aged for an average of 3 years, the grapes were sourced from 20 different villages, based on their own vineyards in Cumières, Damery, Hautvillers and Verneuil. Maison Joseph Perrier is a small family company founded in 1825 by Joseph Perrier. They own 21 hectares of vineyards, conveniently located on a hillside on the edge of the Marne river, and planted with the three grape varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, essential to the development of a classic champagne. The Cuvee name 'Royale' is achieved by the fact that the house was a supplier of the Crown in England for Queen Victoria and King Edward VII.
