A hearty, generously flavoured shiraz, carefully handled to induce a soft warmth in the spiced, round black fruit. Nutmeg and vanilla, finely rendered tannins, a touch of dark chocolate and malt biscuit complete the picture, while our cellaring has contibuted extra smoothness to this solid McLaren Vale citizen. Enjoy over the next 3 or 4 years.

Small batch open-fermented, 14 months maturation in American and French oak. There is an indecent amount of wine for the price, starting with the excellent colour, then through the bouquet and expressive medium-bodied palate, with a latticework of black fruits, bitter chocolate and fine tannins.
